i-rex

Latest news:

[21/10/2003] *NOTE* As of today, there wouldn't be anymore updates to this site. I'll still keep this site up though, as a form of tribute to the Rex microPDA - which in my opinion was a really one-of-its-kind PDA. It's just so sad to see it killed in a 'mishap'... Well, my final thoughts are: There will be a PDA that will eventually come close to a Rex, it's just a matter of time I guess...

[07/12/2002] Launch of i-rex!

Introduction:

Welcome to the launch of i-rex! Formerly known as REX.Dimension, then re-branded as REX.Portal, this website is again updated and is now known simply as i-rex: rex stuff and more!

So what can you find here? To start off, I've written an article myself on 'Future Incarnations of Rex'. If you're a Rex fan and looking for any good articles to read, you can start off with my article! Not only that, I have archived some Rex reviews, news about Xircom's acquisition of Rex and even the original Press Release for the Rex 6000.

Besides the above, I have managed to archive a collection of user manuals and getting started guides for both Rex 5000 and 6000. One of them is the Rex 6000 user manual that has been compiled to form a HTMLHelp file, from separate help files Xircom had created initially.

Also, there is a yet another collection of multimedia stuff, such as myRex.net screenshots and also a wallpaper that was released by Xircom to advertise the Rex. Speaking about advertisment, there is also a video file of a very funny advertisement of the Rex 6000. Be sure to check that out as well!

Lastly, you can get to download the virtual tour of the Rex 6000. What makes this tour so interesting is that it actually includes a Rex emulator for you to play with.

Once you're done here, you can go and explore other Rex sites as well. So there!
